Hong
Kong
Accommodation
Hong
Kong is one of the world's great cities. Its sophistication in
food and lodging, combined with an exciting urban pace,
quality shopping, and its proximity to mainland China all
offer wide variety for the visitor. It is comprised of 236
islands with the most-visited being Hong Kong Island and
the Kowloon Peninsula. Visitors to Hong Kong have a variety of
Chinese Cultural activities to discover, ranging from Antiques
and the Arts to Chinese medicine and Dragon Boat Races.
A colony of Britain until 1997, Hong Kong has what is certainly
the most diverse culture in all of China. While most people
speak Cantonese, English is also widely spoken. A tour of
the island may include a trip to the top of The Peak, for a wide
on the railway to the top of this 550 meter hill for superb
views over Hong Kong Harbor, or perhaps a visit to the Stanley
Markets.
