Today, you will journey through ancient China to Suzhou Venice of
the Orient. You¹ll explore Suzhou¹s stylized gardens and lively street
scenes, with stops at the Embroidery Institute and artisan shops whose
skillfully stitched silks are prized by collectors. Return to Shanghai

Awake to a view of the famed Three Gorges, the river's most famous passage,
and a tour of the massive dam project. Continue cruising through the
locks of Gezhouba Dam to Xiling Gorge, 47-miles of boulder-strewn rapids
flanked by cliffs and odd rock formations. Finally, enter the Wu Gorge,

Board a longboat for a trip on the Daning River rapids into the Three
Small Gorges, flanked by towering cliffs, caves, tombs, and antiquities
or sail through the beautiful Shennong Stream. Then cruise through Qutang.
