1 Depart USA
Your adventure begins as you cross the International Date Line on your
transpacific flight to Tokyo, Japan.
Day
2 Arrive Tokyo
Arrive in Tokyo, an exhilarating city that despite its western facade
retains many traditions dating back centuries. You will be transferred
to your modern hotel located in one of Tokyoıs most happening districts,
Shinjuku.

3 Tokyo
Witness the sharp contrast of the new and old which exists in this city,
where sites such as the Imperial Palace, Asakusa Shopping arcade and
its accompanying Kanon Temple are contrasted against the modern day
Ginza shopping area. Our sightseeing tour includes visits the Tokyo
Tower, Asakusa Kannon Temple, Tasaki Pearl, ending in Ginza where the
afternoon is at leisure to shop and explore. (B)

4 Tokyo
Enjoy a day at leisure, with Pacific Bestours on hand to assist with
your plans. (B)

5 Tokyo/Mt. Fuji/Hakone
This morning we board our luxury motorcoach and drive to Hakone via
Mt. Fuji, where we drive to the fifth station of the Fuji Mountain to
marvel at thebreath taking views! After an included lunch and sightseeing
tour of Hakone we take a cruise on Lake Ashi. This evening experience
a Japanese Onsen, a famous hot spring bath. (B,L)

6 Hakone/Kyoto
This morning we drive to Odawara where we board a "Bullet"
train to Kyoto, Japanıs ancient capital. Our afternoon sightseeing tour
features visits to the Todaiji Temple, housing a great image of Buddha,
colorful Kasuga Shrine with 3,000 lanterns, and Deer Park where many
tame deer roam the grounds. (B,L)

7 Kyoto
Visits to the Golden Pavilion, Nijo Castle, noted for its gorgeous interiors,
and Higashi Honganji Temple are all included on our morning sightseeing
tour. The afternoon is free for you to explore the ancient city. (B)

8 Kyoto/Hiroshima
Transfer to Kyoto Station to board a Shinkansen for Hiroshima. This
afternoon we visit the colorful Itsukushima Shrine with its torii gate,
which seems to float above the sea and the Peace Memorial Handcraft
Center, which has a museum displaying relics and photos of the A-bomb
devastation. (B)
Day
9 Hiroshima/Osaka
Take a Shinkansen to Kurashiki where we visit the Ihara Museum of Art
and Kurashiki Folkdraft Museum. After lunch we re-board the train to
Okayama and visit Korakuen Garden before continuing to Osaka. (B,L)

10 Osaka
This morning enjoy a walking tour of Osaka with an included visit to
Osaka Castle. This afternoon is at leisure to explore the city. (B)
