Depart on an overnight flight to Hong Kong,

Arrive in the vibrant metropolis, Hong Kong, and transfer to your prime
location hotel.

3 Hong Kong
This morning, explore Hong Kong's unique blend of Chinese heritage and
colonial influences. Travel via coach to one of its newest attractions,
the distinctive Peak Tower Complex, with its array of shops, restaurants,
and viewing decks for taking in the superb pano-ramas. Continue around
the island to scenic Repulse Bay, the floating community of Aberdeen,
and the shopping mecca of Stanley. The afternoon is at leisure. (B)

Fly to Hanoi. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

5 Hanoi
Hanoi, a city of lakes, shaded boulevards and public parks, is the capital
of Vietnam. Today you will visit the One Pillar Pagoda built by the
Emperor Ly Thai Tong; the Confucius Temple of Literature; Hoan Kiem
Lake; the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, and the St. Joseph Cathedral. (B,L,D)

6 Hanoi
Journey southwest today toward Ninh Binh on Highway 1 to visit some
interesting sites in Ninh Binh Province and continue by boat to the
"Dry Halong Bay," enjoying breathtaking scenery with huge
rock formations jutting out of rice paddies along the way to Hoa Lu.
You will also visit the Bang Long Pagoda and the Kenh Ga Floating Village.

7 Hanoi/Danang/Hoi An
A morning flight will take you to Danang, the fourth largest city in
Vietnam, which enjoys a pleasant year-round climate. In Danang, you
will visit the Cham Museum, the famous China Beach and the Marble Mountains.
After lunch, youčll journey south along Highway 1 past Hoa Vang and
Dien Ban to Hoi An. (B,L,D)

8 Hoi An/Danang/Hue
Hoi An is a picturesque riverside town south of Danang. Known as Faifo
to early Western traders, it was one of the South-east Asiačs major
international ports during the 17th, 18th, and 19th, centuries. Your
sightseeing tour will include stops at the Quan Cong Temple, Phuoc Kien
Pagoda and Quang Dong pagoda. Travel by coach to Hue, along the Hai
Van Pass, crossing over a spur of the Truong Son Mountain Range that
juts into the South China Sea offering spectacular views. (B,L,D)

9 Hue/Ho Chi Minh City
Explore the imperial city of Hue, built in the early 19th century and
modeled after the Forbidden City in Beijing. Youčll see Ngo Mon Gate,
Thai Hoa Palace, the Halls of the Mandarins, Nine Dynastic Urns and
the Forbidden Purple City. Later today fly to Ho Chi Minh City, where
you will be met and transferred to your accommodations. (B,L,D)

10 Ho Chi Minh City
Today, your tour of the largest Vietnamese city will include Notre Dame
Cathedral, the Jade Emperor Pagoda, the Ben Thanh Market and Cholon,
the extensive Chinese community. This afternoon, youčll take in an excursion
to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, built by hand tools without the use of
cement. It was an important base during the American War, because of
its strategic location. This amazing network was never discovered. (B,L,D)

11 Ho Chi Minh City
Todayčs excursion will take you to My Tho, capital of Ten Giang Province.
Youčll visit My Tho Church, Cao Dai Temple, My Tho Central Market and
the Chinese District. Then, youčll relax on a boat trip along the Mekong
River, cruising to the Dragon Island with its fragrant orchards, palm
fringed shores, and wood fishing boats. A stop at Phoenix Island will

12 Ho Chi Minh/Siem Reap
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Youčll tour Angkor
Wat, featuring the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which
runs along the outer gallery walls, narrating stories from Hindu Mythology.
In 1992, UNESCO declared the monument and the whole city of Angkor a
World Heritage Site. Continue to Angkor Thom, a forbidden Royal City,

13 Siem Reap
Youčll set out this morning to visit Banteay Srei, the Hindu temple
dedicated to Shiva; see the Banteay Samre, which is enclosed by two
concentric walls; Ta Keo, the first Angkorian monument built entirely
in sandstone, Ta Phrom, Sras Srang, Pre Roup, Tan Som and the East Mebon
temple before returning to your hotel. (B,L,D)

14 Siem Reap/Bangkok
Youčll fly to Bangkok to experience an amazing mix of old and new, primitive
and sophisticated, storybook palaces and temples. Youčll be greeted
on arrival and transferred to your plush hotel in an ideal location

Morning sightseeing will feature the Grand Palace, with its royal residence,
mother-of-pearl throne, golden-roofed temples, ceremonial halls, and
other gems of Thai architecture. The afternoon is free at leisure. This
